Accelerated Bachelor's Degree Programs
Watch this video for some encouragement. You can get there and we can help.
UIndy's accelerated programs consist of five-week courses that meet one night a week. Classes are offered in both the fall and spring semesters, as well as during the summer.
Most classes are three credit hours. It takes 120 credit hours, or 40 to 45 courses, to earn a bachelor's degree, so it's possible to complete a bachelor's degree in as little as two to three years.
Key components of these programs include prior learning assessment and college credit by examination. You may receive up to 30 credit hours for what you've learned from your life and work experiences through prior learning assessment. In addition, you can take many local and national tests for college credit, exemption or placement.

Course format options
Some students combine accelerated courses with traditional, semester-long courses through our Extended Programs division. Many departments offer extended courses that are necessary for other majors offered on campus (aside from those listed above). In addition, you can complete an associate's degree in management and administration through the Extended Program. Extended Program courses meet one night per week for 15 weeks.
Tuition for both the Accelerated and the Extended Programs is $330/credit hour.
Students can also take several general education classes through our eight-week online courses.
